Tifa is the best close-range fighter of your team in next to Cloud, but she can't take down the biggest enemies without her best weapons. Scattered throughout different Chapters of the story, you can find new gauntlets for Tifa to use in battle. Each of these weapons has a unique ability that Tifa can learn to make her an even stronger fighter for your party.
New weapons for any character are found in purple chests hidden across areas in the game's story. Similar to the best weapons for Cloud in , you are still able to purchase these items from a vendor at the end of a Chapter if you missed them in the world. While this may cost some valuable money, it is worth having access to every new ability these weapons provide.
With every new weapon, you can master the ability attached to it by using the skill multiple times. Once you master an ability, you do not have to wear that weapon for a character to use the skill associated with it in battle.
