It’s been the season of chocolate eggs and extended bank holidays, and if your children are still on holiday you may well be hitting the point where they’re hitting each other. Can I suggest some video games to while away the hours? It’s been word games in our house, and Wordscapes on iOS has been the surprise winner of the week. I’ve meanwhile been tinkering away with our Planet Zoo Console Edition review, carrying on with Dragon’s Dogma 2, sampled the idisyncratic delights of the Playdate Catalog and rounded out my playthrough of Unicorn Overlord.

Steve has been plugging away at his PC review backlog, now that it’s working properly again, and has found that Outcast: A New Beginning has really grown on him as it’s gone on.
Miguel has been all about the number 2 this week (with one exception), as he prepares for a guest appearance on Sesame Street. That’s meant he’s been playing Dragon’s Dogma 2, Helldivers 2, Content Warning, and Fight Crab 2.
Meanwhile, Aran’s curtailed gaming time this week has meant he’s been playing Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series. “I just needed something a bit laid back, and it is a good platformer choice for that. Quite short games but decent.”
And finally, Tef has done a little bit of Helldivers 2, a little bit of Lightyear Frontier for an early access review, but he too has not got much meaningful gaming under his belt since the extra long weekend.
Now then, what have you been playing?
