EA’s long-awaited Skate reboot has been in the works for a while, and though it’s still unknown how long it’ll be before the game is ready for launch, developer Full Circle has done an impressive job of continuing to share new details on the game, as well as how development is progressing. The studio has now released another episode in its dev diary series “The Board Room”, this time focusing on Skate’s customization options.
Skate will allow players to customize their characters’ appearances in a number of different ways. Right from the off, you’ll be able to choose your character’s height, body shape, features, and more, while the game will also give you plenty of wardrobe options, including tops, pants, headwear, eyewear, footwear, socks, and more.
That will entail plenty of real-world brands, as well as returning fan favourites from past games, like the skeleton outfit. And of course, customization options will also extend to your skateboard, deck art, stickers, grip tape designs, and wheel color, among other things. Customization options will be unlockable, though players will also have the option to purchase them in the in-game store.
Skate is in development for PC and consoles. A release date is currently unknown.
