There are many events featured in Pokemon GO, and one of these special events is Research Days. These Research Days are limited-time events that offer Field Research tasks for players while also featuring a higher chance of having a run-in with shiny forms of specific Pokemon. Research Days are common, but they each feature a unique collection of Pokemon types, and Flying-types are being put front and center this time around.
The next Research Day will be called Flock Together, and it revolves around a variety of Flying-type Pokemon. Launching on May 11, the Flock Together Research Day was recently announced by the Pokemon GO team. This event will present players with Field Research tasks that open up the chance for players to encounter the five featured Flying-type Pokemon that are set to make an appearance. In addition to the five featured Pokemon, many more Flying-types will also be more prevalent.
The featured Pokemon being put in the spotlight during the Flock Together Research Day can be encountered after players complete the planned Field Research tasks. In order to complete these tasks, players will have to spin Photo Discs at PokeStops, which will make the tasks available.
Not only will players get a chance to encounter the featured Pokemon, but there will be additional Flying-type Pokemon that will appear more frequently in the wild.
