Xbox and Marvel Animation have teamed up to create an X-Men 97 inspired Xbox Series X. The Xbox Series X console comes with a unique Xbox controller designed after Wolverine. X-Men 97 is an all-new series with 6 episodes currently on Disney Plus. The show continues the story of the original X-Men cartoon from the 90s with characters like Wolverine, Jubilee, and Magneto.

The Xbox Series X being given away is covered in an exclusive comic by Marvel writer Rich Douek and artist Pico Diaz, showing off the X-Men 97 incarnations of the heroes. The two-page story shows Cyclops, Gambit, Wolverine, Jubilee, Rouge, and more as they fight off a group of Sentinels in an explosive battle. Some of these X-Men may even be coming to Fortnite as new skins.

Fans can enter their chance to win the X-Men 97-themed Xbox Series X by retweeting the Xbox tweet announcing the sweepstakes with #Xbox97Sweepstakes. Fans have from April 22nd until May 19th at 8:00 pm PST to enter. This X-Men collaboration marks the first time an Xbox Series X has been wrapped in a comic book.

This collaboration brings fans of the series on a journey through the world of X-Men 97 as they use their new Xbox. In addition, several key characters have their own controller designs coming through the Xbox Design Lab, including Beast, Gambit, Morph, Jubilee, Jean Grey, Magneto, Storm, and more. The character designs and animation in the X-Men 97 show drew inspiration from anime, particularly referencing styles from the 80s and 90s.

X-Men 97 continues where the original X-Men show from the 90s left off. The voice cast stars Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, JP Karliak as Morph, Lenore Zann as Rouge, Holly Chou as Jubilee, and AJ LoCascio as Gambit. X-Men 97 is streaming on Disney Plus, with six episodes currently on the platform.
