Xbox fans are on a normal one, spamming the FTC's Twitter account after it failed to stop Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Even completely unrelated tweets are full of replies accusing the FTC of being a bunch of Sony Ponies, with Xbox fans pretty mad despite their "team" winning this latest legal battle.
Whether it's a tweet sharing information to help people with disabilities avoid scams, or steps being taken to combat dodgy crypto deals, nothing is safe from the wrath of Xbox players. Almost every recent tweet is being brutally ratio'd, as dozens of fans take it upon themselves to bat for a corporation that doesn't even pay them for the free labour they're putting in.

We spotted this when we checked out the FTC's Twitter to see if it had made a statement on its appeal against its lawsuit loss being rejected. Instead, its most recent tweet concerns Medicaid scams that target people with disabilities or other long-term conditions. But of course, the FTC was mean to the green team in the console wars, so the replies are full of angry gamers instead.
"Please leave Xbox and Microsoft and Blizzard and Activision alone," says one Xbox enthusiast, referring to the multi-million dollar companies that are currently employing teams of PR workers and lawyers to help them get the acquisition over the line.
"I love that FTC has become the laughing stock for every thread. You guys are toast," says another fan, seemingly under the impression that the FTC is about to be shut down after 108 years of operation, all because of the Xbox case. "Your reasons for appeal are rude and insulting to the consumers and the judge."
