Warrior-Exclusive "Astral Perfect Victory" and Sun Shades Found in Season of Discovery
One of the new items datamined for Season of Discovery Phase 4 was the Sun Shades, a Plate helmet very visually similar to the Radiant Ray Reflectors from Gnomeregan. As with many items in Season of Discovery, this came with a very cryptic bit of text: «Requires Astral Perfect Victory» — Sounds almost like a placeholder text at a glance.
Of course, it didn't take long for some more crafty players to figure out the source of this buff.
Sudden Death Rune Guide — Season of Discovery
Warriors who are working their way toward the Sudden Death Rune are inevitably offered the choice of fighting Khonsu on Easy, Medium, or Hard difficulties.
Choosing Easy will immediately fail the interaction, choosing Medium will have players teleported to the top of a pillar and set to fight Khonsu. Completing this fight will award the Timeless Wanderer's Insights, giving you the Sudden Death Rune.
Completing the fight on Hard difficulty will reward the player with the buff Astral Perfect Victory. This buff tracks how many times you have beaten Khonsu without failing.
