Warframe’s Whispers in the Wall quest will bring cross platform saves
thesixthaxis.comWarframe has its next cinematic quest dropping in December, Digital Extremes has confirmed, and the quest is called Whispers in the Wall. Along with the Cinematic Quest, the cross platform save function will also be rolling out. A teaser trailer has been released but the full reveal will be taking place during The Game Awards on December 7th.
“Storytelling is the heart and soul of Warframe,” says Creative Director Rebecca Ford. “Our most memorable experiences as a team, and with our community, have centered around building this incredible world and taking big risks to continuously push ourselves creatively. We did not hold back with Whispers in the Walls – this Update will light the flame on our next narrative arc and take players on an evocative journey that sets the stage for a new decade of adventures in the Origin System.”
Warframe’s Whispers in the Walls update will add a new enemy faction known as the Murmur, and you can fight against them using the new Grimoire book weapon class, allowing the use of some powerful spells which are laying around to be discovered. A new assaination mission is also being added along with two new mission types, which are Alchemy and Netracells. The Sanctum is the new hub zone where new characters will be found.
Qorvex is the 55th Warframe that will be added to the game as part of the update, with radiation being the core element that is part of the damage this frame deals, along with collapsing wall traps. Cross platform saves will be rolled out in stages to families, with all players expected to have access by the end of the year.
