Multiple Cancelled GTA 5 DLC Leaks, Including A Return To Liberty City

Eight single-player DLC expansions were planned for Grand Theft Auto 5, before being cancelled. This would have included a story centred around Trevor and another that would have seen players return to Liberty City.

This comes from yet another GTA leak, this time of GTA 5's source code. Fans have since dived into this leaked material and believe that they've found evidence of the scrapped expansions, suggesting that Rockstar didn't always intend to leave GTA 5 without any DLC whatsoever.

Rockstar has previously indicated that GTA 5 didn't get any DLC because its time was taken up by the next-gen ports, GTA Online and Red Dead Redemption 2. This might be why so many expansions were abandoned.

As these names suggest, not all of these expansions would have given us new stories. Anything with "pack" on the end would have likely just expanded some game mechanics, perhaps adding more social or business elements in the cases of the Relationship and Enterprise Packs. However, Prologue DLC, LibertyV DLC, and Agent Trevor certainly sound like they could have been full stories, either continuing or shedding more light on aspects of the main narrative.

This list of cancelled expansions hasn't been officially confirmed, but it comes from last year's Rockstar hack. We had previously seen parts of the stolen GTA 5 source code, but now, it appears that whoever had their hands on the data has decided to make it public.
