A new video by Airship Syndicate looks back on Wayfinder's 2023, albeit briefly, while giving some hints as to what players can expect as the team moves ahead towards its full free-to-play launch in 2024.
The video, which is just under a minute long, takes a quick look back and looks ahead to what Wayfinder will bring in 2024. While Wayfinder has not had an easy road, with a bumpy launch with myriad issues to the divestiture of publisher Digital Extremes, Airship Syndicate remains committed to expanding on and building up the world of Wayfinder for the foreseeable future.
Community Manager Alex Campbell opens the video by openly admitting the «journey to get here has been long,» but thanks fans for their «continued support.» The team, though, is committed to making Wayfinder better, according to Campbell, with him specifically calling out work the devs are doing to combat load times, balance, matchmaking and overall performance right now.
However, he didn't leave 2023 without a tease, and while Wayfinder is heading towards its full free-to-play launch, Campbell states that the world is «about to get a whole lot larger and faster.»
