Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence by Ubisoft has delayed its launch yet once again. The third-person shooter was supposed to roll out later this month, but that’s not happening now. The launch date has now been pushed to December 2024. I know, it’s quite a drag!
Keeping track of The Division Resurgence’s delays is now becoming a bit too much if you ask me. The game was revealed back in 2021, but the devs have been dragging their feet ever since. The first beta showed up after a year, in 2022. With a bunch of tests under its belt, the game is still a no-show after three years in the making.
They switched things up in September 2023, telling us to look forward to an early 2024 launch instead. They then pushed the original release slot to just another test phase that only gamers in the USA, Brazil and Australia got to check out. I hope it’s worth the wait though! Have you seen it yet? Catch a glimpse below!
If not, then let me give you a quick lowdown on it. This one’s a free-to-play, multiplayer third-person shooter, so there’s going to be a lot of action. It’s going to hang out in the same universe as Tom Clancy’s The Division and The Division 2. Although, it’s going to have its own story, totally separate from the other two games.
Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence takes you on a post-apocalyptic trip through North America where society’s gone kaput due to a nasty plague. It will throw you back into the Dark Zone which includes the no-joke slice of Manhattan Island, New York. The title will also have extra maps and locations inspired by the main series.
So, that wraps up our scoop on Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence. If you fancy the series, go ahead and pre-register on the Google Play Store. And before you head out, do you Love Building Empires? Paragon Pioneers 2 Drops On March 11th!
