Wordle, the popular word-guessing game hosted by The New York Times, has over 1,700 words remaining as possible solutions.
There are a lot of unknowns in every single puzzle, but the categories are the biggest mystery and the one players will have to have some understanding of to solve the puzzle.
If you still need some hints about what the categories might be, we have all of them listed out for you by color:
METAL ELEMENTS
MATTRESS SIZES
SLANG FOR TOILET
KINDS OF KNIVES
METAL ELEMENTS
GOLD
LEAD
MERCURY
TIN
Put some GOLD in that crown to make it more sparkly when you earn it, but probably avoid these other metals. LEAD certainly does not make a good crown, and MERCURY and TIN will not help either.
They might all be metal, but that does not make them equally good for making sparkly headwear. Save the GOLD for your crowns, use the rest for other purposes. MERCURY would not be in a solid state anyway.
MATTRESS SIZES
FULL
KING
QUEEN
TWIN
Unfortunately, it was not a category about royal or noble terms, but rather one about the more mundane world of mattress sizes. The price of them increases exponentially with the size, as well as the frame and bedding to go with it.
It is certainly a little less fun to think about, but I suppose real queens and kings have to sleep on real mattresses as well.
