Konami’s upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection has many fans excited to relive some of their favorite TMNT games on modern platforms. Today, Konami has revealed that along with the upcoming standard edition of the game, TMNT: The Cowabunga Collectionwill also have a limited edition collector’s set filled with plenty of nostalgic memorabilia.
At the March 2022 Sony State of Play, Konami showcased TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection, a multi-game compilation containing 13 classic TMNT games from across the franchise’s storied history on classic consoles and arcade systems. Some of the most anticipated games coming to TMNT: The Cowabunga Collectioninclude Turtles in Time for the SNES, The Hyperstone Heist for the Sega Genesis, and the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for the NES. The Cowabunga Collection brings many classic games to modern systems and new audiences later this year for $39.99.

However, the price for this set is on the high side at $149.99, over three times the standard edition’s price. The collector’s set features a variety of TMNT keepsakes and a hefty artbook for fans to dive into. Long-time fans may be pleased to see that the collector’s set also showcases tons of art inspired by the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic books.
