players are using mods to create massive cities from scratch in-game and the results are quite impressive. Though there are small cities spread throughout the map, most of them are small shacks built out of wooden planks and metal scraps instead of the materials players can use to build their bases. Fortifying bases and making sure that the base is completely unraidable is key in but this player wanted to make sure that they had even more life than just a few Pals running around.
Reddit user stonkes_go_up created an immersive city in that is complete with citizens, shops, and very impressive buildings all across the town, and it rivals the details and depth of real open-world roleplaying game cities. In their walkthrough, stonkes_go_up takes around 12 minutes to show off the entire base, but they mentioned that this video they shared isn't even the full town. With the help of a few mods, they were able to create a fully walkable town that looks like something that could have been what the cities looked like before they became ruins. The base is so large they had to take a flying Pal to get from one side to another.
Each shop they include in this town has completely decorated interiors and almost everywhere there are details that make this area feel like it is supposed to be in-game. People have built iconic anime villages in before, but this level of detail is unlike anything shared previously. stonkes_go_up said this build only took them around a month, and they used 14 bases to build this entire town. They walked through a few different shops and showed off things like a restaurant, a blacksmith shop, a bookstore, and even more.
Modding is frequently an integral part of PC gaming, especially when it comes to creating extremely customized houses and bases. The mod stonkes_go_up used to achieve this level of scale is known as No Building Restrictions (created by CactusPie on Nexus Mods), which allows players to build up and on top of other builds as much as they
