For more than four years now, the Epic Games Store has regularly given away free games. Every Thursday at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, Epic offers at least one free PC game (sometimes two or three, though!). All you need to do to claim the free games is create a free Epic account and enable two-factor authentication to start snagging freebies. You have a week to add the freebies to your library before the new one(s) take their place. At this point, Epic has given away hundreds of free games, and there's no sign that the program will stop any time soon. We keep this article up to date weekly to highlight both the current free games and next week's offerings.
From now until March 23 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, you can grab Warhammer 40,000: Gladius — Relics of War. This particular entry in the Warhammer franchise released in 2018 to positive reviews. It's a turn-based 4X strategy game--the first in the Warhammer 40,000 series--featuring four factions who compete for the limited resources on Gladius Prime. You can play as any of the four factions, each of whom has a different storyline, which winds up encouraging multiple runs. Strategy game fans shouldn't miss out on this freebie next week.
Epic has not revealed any free games for next week yet. We'll update this article once we find out the freebie(s) that will be up for grabs starting March 23.
We're keeping a running list of every free game that Epic users have been able to claim in the past. From AAA hits to indie darlings, Epic has really made its mark with free games. You can even snag these games if you don't have a powerful PC so you can play them if you ever get one. Look at the list below to see the frankly ridiculous list of free games that have been available.
