Xbox gamers may have a good reason to be excited, as one leak is reporting that Ubisoft+, the popular gaming subscription service, will soon be available on Xbox. While Ubisoft and Xbox have not officially confirmed the official release date of the gaming service, rumors have been circulating online for quite some time now.
It is no secret that subscription-based gaming services have grown in popularity in recent years, being favored by players who enjoy trying out different games and genres. Many gamers prefer this type of service because it provides them with the option to sample a diverse selection of games for a relatively low monthly fee. Ubisoft+ is one such service, offering gamers access to a huge library of games, including Ubisoft’s most well-known franchises such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Watch Dogs.

According to Twitter user ScriptLeaksR6, who is known mostly for leaking information about Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft+ will be available for Xbox users sometime in mid-April. As stated by TrueAchievements, Ubisoft+ on Xbox will feature 63 games with more than 100 DLC items, including some of the highest-selling Ubisoft titles likeAssassin's Creed Odyssey and Watch Dogs: Legion.
Unfortunately, Ubisoft has previously stated that its subscription service is not going to be part of the Xbox Game Pass. This decision may have been influenced by a desire to retain control over its own platform, or by differences in the two companies' business strategies. After the unfortunate demise of Google Stadia, Ubisoft+ is now currently only available for the PC for the monthly price of $14.99.
