Overwatch 2: Season 4 begins on April 11th, but Blizzard Entertainment has provided a preview of the patch notes. If you were wondering about Brigitte’s new shield while using her Ultimate, Rally, good news – she’s getting other changes.
Along with increasing her shield size and health (from 300 to 750 HP), Rally allows Shield Bash to hit multiple enemies and briefly stun them. While Brigitte won’t gain temporary health, she does get 100 armor that’s replenishable during Rally’s duration. The only downside is that her bonus movement speed drops from 30 to 15 percent.
Other changes include reducing Reinhardt’s armor from 300 to 250 while increasing his health from 175 to 200. Cassidy’s health is also reduced from 225 to 200, and his Magnetic Grenade will deal 120 damage (down from 131). Interestingly, Mercy’s healing-per-second is 55 again, and she no longer provides more healing for teammates under half health. Check out the patch notes below for more details.

HERO UPDATES
TANK
Reinhardt
Developer Comment: Reinhardt has been overperforming after the recent increases to his offensive capabilities. Those changes have been playing well, so to adjust his overall power, we’re reducing his overall health through this armor reduction.
Sigma
Accretion
Developer Comment: Like Roadhog’s Chain Hook, Sigma’s Accretion and primary fire combo can be highly lethal and can feel like a guaranteed kill against 200 health targets. We’re reducing the damage slightly to require an additional volley of primary fire but are also increasing the stun duration to provide allies with more opportunity to follow up on successful impacts.
