Hello Games have detailed No Man’s Sky update 4.21 following the release of the game’s latest expansion.
This latest hotfix patch is currently available to download on PC and will be available on consoles at a later date. It addresses a small number of issues players have encountered since No Man’s Sky launched its later major content drop, dubbed “Interceptor”.

Bug fixes
The latest expansion introduces the new Interceptor ship class to all players, which was previously exclusive to expeditions. This comes with a range of new Sentinel tech, including unique upgrades for the Interceptor ships, the Aeron Turbojet jet pack, and Sentinel Multi-Tools. To obtain these upgrades, players must collect new radiant shards and anomalous crystals found on corrupted planets and battle corrupted Sentinels, which produce glowing crystals. Players can also challenge Sentinel Capital ships for even greater rewards.
The update includes several graphical improvements too, such as Dynamic Resolution Scaling and FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 on Xbox platforms, as well as memory optimisations across all platforms. Of particular note for PSVR 2 owners, there is a significant enhancement to image quality in PSVR2, and players can now adjust the placement of wrist-mounted gear and pop-up menus.
