We’re still days away from the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, but even the announcement of the trailer is causing a firestorm on social media. It makes sense: GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games of the decade. To stay busy until the trailer drops on Dec. 5, everyone’s making jokes.
Even game studios as big as Microsoft are getting in on it, using the GTA 6 announcement format to announce their own trailers. The Fall Guys team, too, has a new trailer coming next week. We’ve reached out to both Microsoft and Epic Games to confirm they’ve actually got trailers coming, but our guess is yes — and that the GTA 6 announcement was a timely, buzzy thing to play off of.

Elsewhere on social media, eager fans are digging into the GTA 6 poster for any hints as to what’s to come. Mostly, it’s speculation on the third birds. Three birds equals three characters?
