The Flash Season 8 Episode 11 Trailer Teases Firestorm's Return

The Flash season 8 episode 11 trailer teases the return of Robbie Amell's Firestorm. The latest season is getting into one of the show's darker storylines as the Black Flame mystery continues. While The Flash normally deals with speedster villains, metahumans, and sometimes even aliens, the Black Flame is a different baddie altogether. As teased by the showrunner last year, The Flash season 8 is taking on the supernatural and the world of horror, something that the series hasn't explored previously. It's not even something the other Arrowverse shows deal with on a regular basis, so this is very much new territory.
As The Flash season 8 is getting further into the latest storyline, things are starting to come together with the new serial killer villain. Previous episodes have established that the Black Flame is able to take on the form of any deceased person they want. With various members on Team Flash having lost loved ones, the Black Flame has been targeting specific characters by looking like someone that has died in their lives. This week's episode, «Reckless,» ended with Caitlin Snow being the latest Team Flash member to get a personal visit by the Black Flame, that now seems to have ties to Firestorm's return.
