The Flash season 8 finale is going to honor the past three seasons, including season 6, according to the showrunner. This season of The Flash has been one of the biggest ones yet, starting with the 5-part event Armageddon last fall. While not a traditional Arrowverse crossover, Armageddon did feature multiple heroes and villains from the other shows as part of a massive Barry Allen storyline. Since The Flash season 8's return in 2022, the DC drama has gone into a supernatural-horror-themed arc which resulted in Deathstorm serving as the latest villain.
While this is the current graphic novel arc for The Flash season 8, there are still nine episodes to air, with at least one more big bad being introduced. The show is currently in the midst of filming its last installments of the ongoing season, with the last episode airing on Wednesday, June 29. As usual, details are being kept under wraps regarding The Flash season 8 finale, which is expected to feature some familiar guest stars. Past seasons of The Flash have always tended to end with a major bang, so there's a lot of anticipation for the June finale.
