Fresh footage of Michael Keaton's Batman in 2023's The Flash has been shown at this year's CinemaCon. While Grant Gustin has been portraying the fastest man alive on The CW's The Flash TV show for nearly eight seasons, the DCEU has featured Barry Allen since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016. Played by Ezra Miller, this iteration of the Scarlet Speedster is still early in his career as a superhero. After being cast in October 2014, Miller has been attached to star in their own solo film for nearly eight years.
After being stuck in an extensive development phase, The Flash film is finally getting closer to becoming a reality. Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash will follow Barry's adventures as he explores the multiverse. While not a direct adaptation of DC's Flashpoint saga, it will be loosely based on the game-changing storyline. Ben Affleck's Batman is back for the DCEU picture, but he isn't the only Caped Crusader showing up. After portraying the DC icon in Batman and Batman Returns, Michael Keaton will be reprising his version of Bruce Wayne in The Flash.
