According to a Deadline report, Warner Bros. debuted a trailer for the upcoming DC movie The Flash at Cinemacon 2022. In the trailer, we see a fully dressed Micheal Keaton as Batman, with Keaton saying one of his more iconic lines from the Tim Burton films. «You wanna get nuts? Let's get nuts,»
It's been over 30 years since Keaton has donned the cowl, last appearing as the Dark Knight in 1992's Batman Returns. Later in the trailer, a batcycle that appears to be the one from Christopher Nolan's trilogy is showcased at classic locations like Wayne Manor and the Batcave.
The upcoming Flash movie is drawing inspiration from the 2011 DC Comics event Flashpoint. Barry Allen, AKA The Flash, goes back in time to save his mother from her untimely death but causes a ripple effect that changes the entire DC universe. According to the report, a young Superman can be spotted in the trailer.
There's no word on when another trailer for The Flash is set to come out. But we can expect The Flash to be released on June 23, 2023.
The Flash was initially supposed to release later this year in June. But the movie was pushed back to 2023, alongside other DC movies such as Black Adam and Aquaman 2. Warner Bros. has reportedly paused all future projects with Ezra Miller, following his arrest in Hawaii.
