Warning! Spoilers ahead for Flashpoint Beyond #1
DC Comics continues to prove that all Batman ever needs is prep-time in order to win against those with powers, even someone as powerful as the Flash. In the new Flashpoint Beyond series, Batman is investigating the new concept known as the Divine Continuum, which is essentially DC's version of Marvel's Sacred Timeline. However, it's also revealed that the Dark Knight has nothing to worry about when it comes to the time-traveling speedster Reverse-Flash, as he has learned and planned accordingly after their last encounter.
During The Button event that served as a build-up to DC's Watchmen crossover Doomsday Clock, Batman discovers the Comedian's yellow smiley face button in the Batcave. While investigating alongside Barry Allen's Flash, Batman receives a brutal visit from none other than the Reverse-Flash who infiltratsd the Batcave and nearly kills the Dark Knight. While Eobard Thawne's attraction to the button results in his own death by Doctor Manhattan, death has lost its permanence for the Reverse-Flash, who exists as a living paradox. As such, he soon makes his return to the land of the living to plague the Flash Family once more.

Case in point, the end of Flashpoint Beyond #1 from Geoff Johns, Jeremy Adams, Tim Sheridan, Xermanico, and Mikel Janín sees Barry Allen racing to the Batcave to warn Batman that there's something wrong with time, which Bruce Wayne has already gathered. He also tells Batman that the Reverse-Flash is back. While the Fastest Man Alive believes he's been tracking Thawne with the trail leading straight to the Batcave, the Reverse-Flash is nowhere to be found.
