The Flash season 8's ongoing Deathstorm storyline is going to have significant fallout, teases showrunner Eric Wallace. Things have started getting a little darker for the current season of The Flash as Barry Allen and the team tackle their latest threat. Robbie Amell's Ronnie Raymond, aka Firestorm, returned this year, turning out to be the new villain all along. The latest episode, «Resurrection,» didn't exactly see the return of Ronnie, but rather a reimagination of a familiar Flash baddie. The 12th episode concluded with «Ronnie» being revealed to be the Black Flame, a.k.a. Deathstorm.
