Though he's the Fastest Man Alive, the Flash may be underutilizing his skills by simply running. One particular moment from The Dark Knight III: The Master Race shows Barry Allen put his speed to the test in a way he doesn't usually. And his success is proof that the Flash could use his speed in a much more effective manner.
Many fans already know that the Scarlet Speedster premiered in the pages ofShowcase Comics #4. Since being doused with chemicals and struck by lightning, Barry Allen has been running nonstop as the Flash. With a connection to the mythical Speed Force, the speed imbued to Barry has allowed him to perform some of the most powerful, universe altering accomplishments ever.

And yet, despite all the of amazing things the Flash has pulled off in standard continuity, one of his most impressive feats took place in The Dark Knight III: The Master Race by Frank Miller, Brian Azzarello, and Andy Kubert. With the Earth under attack from a group of Kryptonians, Batman has discovered technology that can lace weather systems with synthetic kryptonite. However, the device is incredibly complex, and the only person who has a chance at operating it is the Flash. Though his legs are broken, Flash still manages to make use of his speed operating the tech by manipulating "zillions of variables" with his unique, accelerated thinking. His success with the device turns the tide and allows his allies to take on dozens of rogue Kryptonians.
