The Flash Fans Call For Grant Gustin To Replace Ezra Miller In The DCEU
As Ezra Miller's current controversies continue to grow more complicated, fans of The Flash call for Grant Gustin to take over their part in the DCEU. Two years before Barry Allen sped into the DCEU in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Gustin took on the role for the Arrowverse's second series, The Flash. Gustin has led the show for eight seasons now and will return for a ninth. Meanwhile, Miller has played Barry in three DCEU films and is finally set to receive their first solo movie next year.
However, there have been a few complications recently. Miller stirred up headlines last week after they were arrested in Hawaii following an altercation at a karaoke bar. The actor was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment after shouting obscenities and lunging at other patrons; Miller was later saddled with a restraining order after reportedly harassing the married couple they were staying with. Since then, a report has emerged alleging Warner Bros. brass conducted an emergency meeting over Miller's recent actions and has placed further DC projects involving them as the Flash on hold.

The news has led many fans online to voice their opinion about who should play the Flash going forward. One name received more support than anyone else: Gustin.
