Warner Bros. is reportedly not eying a return for Ezra Miller in future Fantastic Beasts films, while their DC involvement post-The Flash remains unclear. Since their casting as Barry Allen in October 2014, Miller has been involved with not one but two major Warner Bros. franchises: The Harry Potter universe and the DCEU. Miller got cast almost eight years ago as the first cinematic take on The Flash while also going on to have a supporting role in the Fantastic Beasts films as Credence Barebone/Aurelius Dumbledore. While their Flash solo movie has been delayed multiple times, Miller has appeared as the Scarlet Speedster in several DC films.
Since the end of March, Miller has faced multiple legal troubles in Hawaii. It began with their arrest on Sunday, March 27 due to disorderly conduct and harassment. The Flash actor was also hit with a restraining order by a Hawaiian couple before the two individuals dropped it by April 12. The restraining order was initially petitioned following Miller breaking into their apartment and threatening their lives before stealing various personal items. As of this week, Miller got arrested again in Hawaii following a complaint of second-degree assault, which involved throwing a chair at a 26-year-old woman who was left with a half-inch cut on her forehead.
