At the beginning of the new console generation, Xbox released the Xbox Series S alongside the Series X and many gamers have taken to the smaller yet still capable machine. One Xbox fan that requested an Xbox Series S for their birthday got a pleasant surprise from their husband with the console itself.
Reddit user Armyjackson recently shared two images of their Xbox Series S birthday cake that they received from their husband originally in place of an actual Xbox Series S. The impressively baked cake is remarkably similar to an Xbox Series S console and not only does it look like the console, it also seems to be made to scale. Compared to the Xbox Series X and PS5, the Series S is notably smaller and fits in more entertainment units, but based on Armyjackson's photos, it's an ideal cake size.

The first photo of Armyjackson's Xbox Series S birthday cake shows the front of the console replica, with the USB-A port and pairing button for the missing Xbox controller reflected on the bottom left. Like the recently released console, the top of the cake has a circular pattern that resembles a speaker but acts as an airway on an Xbox Series S to keep it cool. Although the cake has clearly been cooled in a way to prevent the frosting from melting off, this pattern is strictly for aesthetic purposes in the Xbox Series S cake.
On the backside of Armyjackson's birthday cake is fittingly a plethora of ports to reflect the console effectively, with a power port, an Ethernet jack, two USB-A ports, an HDMI port, and a storage expansion slot.
