Back in April, Microsoft did something a little unorthodox with its Xbox Game Pass announcements. While announcing the new Xbox Game Pass games that would be coming in the near future, it also confirmed two Ubisoft games that would be coming to the service within the «next two months.» Microsoft has yet to fully reveal the new Xbox Game Pass games for June 2022, but thanks to the «Coming Soon» section on consoles, we now know when to expect Assassin's Creed Origins and For Honor: Marching Fire Edition to hit the service.
Unless Xbox consoles are displaying inaccurate information, it seems as though For Honor: Marching Fire Edition will be added to Xbox Game Pass on June 1. Assassin's Creed Origins is coming a little later, currently scheduled for a June 7 debut on Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft will likely announce the new Xbox Game Pass games for June 2022 come June 1, so fans will find out then what other titles will be joining these games.
Game Pass Adds 2 More Games to the Lineup
Some Xbox Game Pass subscribers may be confused by the addition of For Honor: Marching Fire Edition since For Honor is already available on Xbox Game Pass. However, For Honor: Marching Fire Edition is a more complete version of Ubisoft's melee-focused online multiplayer game. It adds the Wu Lin faction to the game, plus it will let PC Game Pass subscribers get in on the action as well.
Assassin's Creed Origins, meanwhile, is a landmark release in Ubisoft's long-running open world franchise.
