Microsoft typically waits until the first of the month to reveal the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass, but it's wasting no time when it comes to the new Xbox Game Pass games for June 2022. In a surprise early announcement, Microsoft has officially announced six games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the first half of the month, while previous announcements have clued fans in on two of the games that will be added in the latter half of June, making for eight games in total.
The new Xbox Game Pass games for June 2022 will kick off with For Honor: Marching Fire Edition on June 1. While the base version of For Honor has been available to vanilla Game Pass subscribers for some time, the Marching Fire Edition adds new content and expands the game's reach to PC Game Pass. Then on June 2, Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection will be available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to check out, giving fans access to Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge.

June 7 will be the biggest day for Xbox Game Pass in the first half of June, as that's when four games are being added to the subscription service all at once. On June 7, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to the addition of Assassin's Creed Origins, Chorus, Disc Room, and Spacelines from the Far Out, with the latter being the sole day one release for Game Pass in the first half of the month.
Spacelines from the Far Out is described as a «roguelike-like» co-op management game. Players will be able to unlock ships, characters, and more while taking on randomly-generated challenges.
