Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription service receives new game additions on a regular basis. We're only two days into June 2022, and Xbox Game Pass has already added two games for subscribers to check out. The first was For Honor: Marching Fire Edition, which was added to Xbox Game Pass on June 1, and the latest is Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection, though the latter is technically three games in one package.
Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection is available now for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to check out on consoles and PC. For those who aren't familiar with the collection and what it entails, it includes access to Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge. All three of these are re-releases of previous Ninja Gaiden games, but with some new features and added content.
Xbox Game Pass Teasing 'Surprises' for June 2022
Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection is unavailable to play through Xbox's cloud services, and it's unclear why that is at the time of this writing. At some point, one would think that new Xbox Game Pass additions would feature cloud support by default, especially since Microsoft is working on a dongle that will allow gamers to access to Game Pass content through the cloud without even owning a PC or Xbox console. But while some may miss the cloud support for Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection, they are free to play it on PC and consoles.
Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection is the last new addition to Xbox Game Pass until next week, when four more games will be added. On June 7, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can try Assassin's Creed Origins, now with a next-gen upgrade that boosts its performance, Chorus, Disc Room, and day one release Spacelines from the Far Out.
