A clever Sims 4 player has expertly recreated the home featured in the game's Build and Buy menu. A game all about creativity, the recreation of famous places in The Sims 4is a popular pastime for many players. The long-running simulation title has one of the most active creative communities in gaming, with players frequently sharing their creations online.
Although creating and living out the lives of Sims is a core element of The Sims franchise, building homes and businesses is arguably just as popular an activity — some players even spend more of their time creating builds than they do playing with their characters. To do this, players will use the Build and Buy menu to purchase furniture items, build foundations and roofs, perform landscaping, and more. This menu — which has been different in each iteration of the Sims franchise — in The Sims 4 is represented by a gray home and yard which makes each section clickable for players to quickly switch between sections.

Twitter user dan1ellebuilds shared a clever recreation of the Build/Buy menu home this week that will look very familiar to any Sims 4 fan. Almost entirely monochromatic, each menu section from wallpaper to pools has been included just as it appears within the game. The only objects featured in color as those that do not have any gray swatches, which are the recreations of the menu buttons for nature items. The user's recreation copies the spacing of the menu perfectly as well, expertly capturing the layout of the game's Build/Buy menu.
