The Flash season 8 stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Tom Cavanagh, Danielle Panabaker, Danielle Nicolet, Kayla Compton, Brandon McKnight, Rick Cosnett, and Jesse L. Martin.
Until recently, it was unclear if The Flash would continue for another season, but showrunner Eric Wallace said that they were prepared for both scenarios, saying thatThe Flash season 8 could serve as a series finale as well as a continuation. However, since it was renewed, The Flash will close the story threads leading all the way through the eighth season, while teasing something to be picked up for the next. Ultimately, Wallace has said that he's known what the ending of the Flash series will be for a long time, which will now take place at the end of The Flash season 9.

Now (via TV Line), The CW has revealed that The Flash season 8 finale will air on June 29th, 2022. The Flash season 8 will consist of 18 episodes total, with the 11th episode set to air next Wednesday, April 13th. Thus far, the show has dealt with a number of threats and twists, beginning with the Armageddon crossover event and now teasing the return of Robbie Amell's Firestorm. There are a number of different directions the show could go in and plenty of storylines to wrap up before it ends its long run, so fans can rest easy in that there's much more to come.
