InOverwatch 2,players can select the hero character Sojourn if they want to experience the first new character to be introduced in the brand new installment in the series. Armed with a railgun weapon, Sojourn has white body armor to match her slicked back white hair, and she is adorned with facial tattoos. In the story, she is a member of the Canadian special forces that partnered with Overwatch during the Omnic Crisis. Because of her heroic efforts, Soldier 76 invited her to officially join Overwatch.
As a damage-per-second (DPS) focused hero, Sojourn in Overwatch 2 is built for damage output instead of support. Her primary attack is her Railgun, which shoots like a rapid-fire projectile rifle. Once fired, Sojourn will have a meter that fills with each successful hit. The higher the meter, the more significant the damage output. If players can get a headshot, they may be able to take out an opponent with one hit, although this will not work with tank characters like Bastion. A quick way to charge Sojourn's meter is to target tanks or shields. These projectile shots do not require players or aim through sights or stand at a huge distance to target their opponent.
