One of the most common disappointments experienced by Starfield players when playing Bethesda's new game for the first time was the inability to travel within the same solar system.
While technically possible in the vanilla game, it takes many hours, making quick travel the only viable option. That changed roughly a month ago with the Slower than Light mod. However, that mod required using the in-game console to achieve the desired outcome.

The Interplanetary Engines Starfield mod supports various installation methods, such as Mod Organizer 2 (recommended by the author), Vortex, and manual installation. Those wishing to perform a manual install should follow these instructions:

Yesterday, a group of modders also released the Starfield Luma Native HDR mod, which delivers a major visual improvement whether you play in SDR or HDR.
