The enemy-filled adventures of are easier to tackle when you play with a friend in the game's online Co-Op mode, which lets you take on the challenges of a run together. Once you finish the tutorial mission that explains the mechanics of, you can start a multiplayer game by going to the main menu's «Co-Op» option before selecting the «Host» prompt. Doing this allows you to create a Room that you are able to invite a friend to. From this point, both adventurers have a chance to pick what characters to use during this run, then jump into the action whenever the Host decides.
Progression is shared during the multiplayer of, no matter if you are the Host or not for a Co-Op run. Unlike a solo adventure, you do not have the ability to swap characters with your partner when playing together.
