As the Formula 1 circus heads to Imola this weekend, there’s a mixture of excitement and sombre remembrance. Are Red Bull on the back foot again? Will Ferrari and Mercedes’ upgrade packages slingshot them to the front? And was McLaren’s win last time out a flash in the pan or can they keep fighting for the top step?
At the same time, it’s 30 years since the death of Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger, and the shockwaves that were felt in 1994 are still felt in the sport to this day.

Elsewhere, I had a couple of previews to share with you all. I went hands on with the first few sections of Prison Architect 2’s career, seeing how the game is handling the jump to 3D (and to new developers, kind of). I also played a couple select slices of F1 Manager 24, which brings a new Create a Team option for the career, mechanical failures to deal with, mentality and more.
Rounding things out as always, What We Played featured a bunch of Assassin’s Creed games, Little Kitty, Big City and Prison Architect 2.
