While it may first come across as another one of your many hallucinations, these hidden faces lead to Yggdrasil trees, glowing trees pinpointing other collectibles in the chapter. There are seventeen hidden faces across four chapters of the game, each unlocking a secret path to the Yggdrasil tree.
The voices in your head can help direct you toward hidden faces. When you find a hidden face, zoom in on it to reveal a secret path. This path will lead you to the next Yggdrasil tree. Focus on the tree, and it will start tracking collectibles. The faces can be hard to spot among the rest of the rocks, and their sizes vary, but each one depicts the same stoic face.
