The Smithscript Dagger can be found relatively quickly and soon into the DLC. You can find it in theRuined Forge Lava Intake, down the first ladder, and past the golem in . There is also a fire blob, after which you should turn right. There’s another room past that where you can turn to the left and look down a hallway. The dagger is at the end, beyond a golem, resting on a corpse.
You can also drop down into the hallway from where you flip a lever above.

The Smithscript Dagger is a Throwing Dagger, meaning you can throw it at enemies and get it back. It comes with the skill Piercing Throw and can be upgraded using Smithing Stones s. The base scaling is represented in the table below:
