Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2will be released on May 21, 2024, according to a recent leak. If confirmed, this rumor means that one of the most eagerly awaited games of 2024 could be available during the first half of the year.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was originally released by Ninja Theory back in 2017, and the new IP surprised many gamers due to its incredible presentation and gripping storyline. So its sequel became quite hyped by fans when it was announced in 2019. According to insiders, Xbox’s internal reviews of Hellblade 2 are very good, and the company is confident that the title could reach widespread critical acclaim after its release.

Now, it seems that Hellblade 2 may be somewhat close to its launch. According to Exputer, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 will be released on May 21, and Ninja Theory will unveil the date officially during this week’s Xbox Developer Direct. Exputer talked to sources inside of Microsoft to gain this information, but it did not divulge any names. So, gamers should treat this information as a rumor and wait for the official announcement.

Apart from this rumor, another upcoming Xbox first-party game gained a release date, but this time, it’s an official one: STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released on September 5. The sequel to the classic shooter has been in the works for quite a while, and it suffered from several delays due to multiple reasons, including the war between Russia and Ukraine, where the studio is located. While fans may be disappointed to know that STALKER 2 will still take several months to be released, the delay was deemed necessary to allow the developers enough time to polish the game and fix technical imperfections before the release.
