While working on 31 in 2015, Rob Zombie captured some behind-the-scenes images and recently shared them with his Instagram followers. Audiences were able to watch this horror/ thriller in late 2016, where they were introduced to the disturbing villain Doom-Head portrayed by Richard Brake. The movie follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped and forced to play a macabre game called 31, which saw them fighting for their lives as they were tortured over the course of 12 hours.

Years passed since the release of 31 when Zombie discovered some BTS photos from the production and has chosen to release them for his fans to see. There is a plethora of candid pictures for fans to peruse, showing off Zombie's directorial skills. The actors are decked out in their sinister costumes, some giving fans a glimpse at the characters before and after they're drenched in blood. Check out the images below:

Audience reactions to Zombie's 31 were mixed. 31 is full of the iconic gore that Zombie is known for, which surprisingly is what had viewers divided. While some believed that it stayed true to Zombie's vision and style, others believe that it was toned down to have a wider mass appeal. Regardless, Zombie has managed to maintain a loyal fan base over the years and continues to make his mark on the horror genre. Those desperate to see more of Zombie's movies won't have to wait long as he's working on The Munsters Reboot, though the musician/director is set to take a more comedic approach for his most recent project.
