Newcomer to the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, Jibri Bell, is definitely quirky with flashy fashion sense, but many viewers feel his style choices indicate immaturity, and they’re eager rake him over the coals. In season 9, Jibri and his fiancé Miona’s journey is just beginning, and fans were first introduced to Jibri’s home and family. Jibri is worried about how high-maintenance Miona will adapt to living with his parents in rural South Dakota, and it seems he’s right to be concerned.
Of course, many viewers couldn’t pay attention to what he was saying about Miona and his relationship, because they were too focused on the way Jibri looks. The franchise newcomer is well aware that he has a distinct look and described himself as a “jellyfish in a small pond” because it was hard for him to fit in when he was growing up. The new 90 Day Fiancé season 9 star joked about having “a lot of tattoos, crazy hair, and I dress like I’m from some other planet.” However, it’s clear that through the years of feeling like an outcast, Jibri came to embrace his unique personality and style. “I bring a lot of color into people’s lives, this is who I am, and I am goofy,” he asserted in episode 1.
