Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer has opened up about what it was like working with Robert Englund on the series' newest season. Stranger Things is, of course, the hit Netflix show that first began streaming back in 2016. The series, created by Matt and Ross Duffer, tells the ongoing tale of the mysterious supernatural events that consistently plague the small town of Hawkins, Indiana. Stranger Things was somewhat of a surprise smash-hit for Netflix when it was first released, and since then has released three seasons which have all received acclaim from both critics and fans, and the series has gone on to win seven Primetime Emmys.
Like many other television series currently in production, Stranger Things fell victim to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, after nearly three years since the release of Stranger Things season 3, the hit series is finally set to return with its fourth season streaming in two halves. Trailers have been released ahead of the release of Stranger Things season 4 Vol.1, showing fans that the series will not be holding back upon its return. Perhaps most excitingly, it has been revealed that horror legend Robert Englund will be guest-starring in the new season. Englund is, of course, most famous for his portrayal of Freddy Kruger in the iconic Nightmare on Elm Street films. Now, Englund is joining the growing list of iconic 80's actors who have joined the Stranger Things adventure.
