Sony has consistently made sure that the games it’s putting out on PC – of which there’s no shortage anymore – are all fully optimized for the Steam Deck, and it doesn’t look like the company’s next PC port will be bucking that trend.
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is set to launch for PC imminently, and taking recently to Twitter, developer Insomniac Games confirmed that the game is Steam Deck Verified. That means the game has been fully optimized to run well on the device and should feature no compatibility issues.
First party PlayStation studio Nixxes Software, which is responsible for Rift Apart’s PC port, previously also confirmed that the game will feature support for DirectStorage 1.2 GPU decompression, as well as ray-traced ambient occlusion. You can check out its PC requirements through here.
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is out for PC later today. Read our review of the original PS5 version through here.
