Update: The big Pinball FX update livestream from developer Zen Studios did not disappoint, as it confirmed quite a lot of new content is coming to the game. It’ll all get underway from 13th April, when two new remastered tables will be available for free: Sorcerer’s Lair and Fish Tales. This increases the number of tables available for everyone at no cost to a total of three, and the console release will be further improved with the addition a Tate mode for a vertical viewpoint.
That’s not all that’s being added on 13th April, however, as the developer’s announced a bunch of tables:
The Marvel Pinball Collection 2 bundle will also be released on 13th April, completing that entire set in the new game. There’s quite a lot for fans of virtual pinball to look forward to, then. Which will you be adding to your collection?
Original Article: We’re not overly enamoured with the direction Zen Studios has taken Pinball FX, but the release is still a veritable treasure trove of virtual pinball, and so there’s still time to iron out the kinks in this latest PS5 and PS4 iteration of the series. Obviously one way to win back goodwill is to release great tables, and so we’re excited to see what the Budapest team has in store in an upcoming livestream.
