Permanent Sun Shades & the Unsolved Mystery of the Secret Agents - Season of Discovery
Ever since the first completion of the Sudden Death rune by killing Khonsu and receiving the Astral Perfect Victory buff, Warriors have been wondering if there is something more hidden within. Luckily, Discarnated on r/classicwow has been doing some testing and shared the results!
Warriors are required to kill Khonsu at least once for the Sudden Death rune, which was introduced in Phase 4.
After killing Khonsu on hard, you receive a stackable buff Astral Perfect Victory. Once you kill Khonsu 17 times your buff changes to Dedication and you are granted a cosmetic sunglasses effect!
Warriors receive Sun Shades as a reward for completing the Sudden Death Rune and Dedication gives the same cosmetic effect as wearing Sun Shades but you don't need to have the helm equipped.
But the mystery doesn't just end here! In Phase 2 of Season of Discovery, the Cozy Sleeping Bag questchain introduced Secret Agents.
These mysterious Agents were elusive when players attempted to communicate until a Warrior wearing Sun Shades engaged them. The number 17 could have real significance here.
