How to Obtain the 'Scythe of Chaos' Warlock Staff in Season of Discovery
The Warlock-exclusive Staff, Scythe of Chaos, has been found in Season of Discovery! This staff offers several unique effects, including the chance for pet summons to be instant cast, and allowing you to harvest the soul of your summoned demon.
Scythe of Chaos Warlock Class Weapon Guide
Warlocks will be able to unlock this powerful staff by first defeating Razorgore the Untamed in Blackwing Lair, and looting the Depleted Scythe of Chaos. Upon accepting the quest, players will then be sent to The Barrens to speak with Doan Karhan.
Next, players will need to travel to Eastern Plaguelands and accept the follow-up quest from the imp, Xirath.
After completing his quest, players will need to defeat Xirath and use Drain Soul on him to receive the Soul of Mischief.
Doan Karhan will continue to task the player with obtaining souls from other enemies around Eastern Plaguelands, which will ultimately lead to Demon Fall Canyon in Ashenvale. Entering the instance alone and defeating Des'Altek will be the final step in acquiring your new Scythe of Chaos!
