The newly released carries on the age-oldtradition of gatheringPieces of Heart to increase health. Like most other entries in the series, every four Pieces of Heart you collect can be combined to become a new Heart Container, letting you take extra damage from enemies.
However, these Pieces of Heart can be somewhat hard to find, with many being hidden around the world or locked behind challenges. Besides the full Heart Containers earned when defeating main bosses, players will need to explore all corners of Hyrule to find the remaining pieces. Here is where to find all Pieces of Heart in .
Hyrule Field is one of the largest open areas in the game. There are eight different Pieces of Heart to find, with some requiring quests to complete. Don't forget to grab a horse to be able to traverse this open area even faster.

On top of a stump in the middle of a grove. Can be reached by using Echoes, such as the Trampoline.
On top of a pillar. Can be reached by stacking Echoes, such as the Bed.
Obtained by beating theAcorn Gathering minigame. You'll need to collect 11 Acorns in under 40 seconds, and will need to use Echoes to climb on top of trees to reach them.
Obtained by completing the Seco nd and Eleventh Stages of the Slumber Dojo challenges.
On top of a pillar in the middle of a lake. Can use theBed Echo to reach the smaller outside pillars, then jump to the center.
Underground on a ledge to the left of the cave entrance. You'll need to use a Holmill Echo to dig in the dirt patch, where you willdrop into a cave with the Piece of Heart.
Obtained after completing the Impa's Gift quest to obtain the White Horse. This quest will not be available until after the Hyrule Castle Dungeon is completed. Once you have the White Horse, you'll need to complete the Medium Flag Race in under 20 seconds.
Many Pieces of Heart will require you to use thecorrect Echoes to reach them. There are several different Echoes that can help with platforming puzzles.
