features a plethora of Echoes for Zelda to use to save the kingdom, but it also features six automatons that can fight at your side as long as you know how to unlock them. These little 'bot buddies are optional and relatively easy to miss if you're not looking for them, but they can be super helpful, particularly when fighting enemies in large groups. To get started, you'll need to find Dampé after clearing the Hyrule Castle dungeon and beating Ganon for the second time.
If you're not interested in sidequests, the automatons are entirely skippable. You can play the whole game and never need one, but they're super useful, so they're worth the time spent unlocking them all. Dampé will help you craft all six using different Echoes and items you will find on your adventure. If you're anything like me, you'll have many of these Echoes unlocked already, so crafting the automatons should be a breeze.
Once you complete the Hyrule Castle dungeon and free the king, Dampe should show up somewhere in Hyrule Field. Unfortunately, where he appears specifically seems random, so you'll have to explore a bit until you see him. I found him in Hyrule Ranch, but there's no guarantee that's where he'll show. When you find him, beat the crow that's bothering him, after which he'll head to his workshop.
There are 25 stamps hidden throughout Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and collecting them all can provide you awesome rewards.
The workshop is located north of the Eastern Temple, and there's a waypoint there that you can use for ease of access. If you pass the Eastern Temple on your way, make sure to pick up the stamp there for the Stamp Guy's quest, which can reward you with some helpful items. Head on into Dampé's workshop, where he'll explain that he needs your help building automatons and give you access to his journal, which you should read and figure out which one you want to make first.
